Driver To Connect Android To Windows 10

Since the upgrade, i am unable to connect my android devices as mtp (or portable media player) devices on windows. the devices that i am using are nexus 4, samsung grand 2 and kindle fire hd 7". prior to the upgrade i was able to view these as portable devices.. I tried to connect my android phone which has lollipop 5.1 but i couldn't because my laptop was not detecting the phone. i tried the same with windows 8.1 laptop and it got connected instantaneously. i even downloaded and installed mtp driver package from windows site but it was of no help.. Problem: install adb drivers (google_usb_drivers) on a windows 10 client in order to enable debugging for my oneplus one (opo). what i have tried: after some googling i found several guides telling me to add the devices hardware id to googles driver "android_winusb.inf" under [google.ntx86] and [google.ntamd64] ..
